Sochaux scored three late goals to claim an unexpected draw against European hopefuls Lille at a stunned Stade Lille-Metropole.

Cedric Kante's goal allied to a Vincent Nogueira brace in the final 10 minutes was enough to gain a point for Sochaux after Soloman Kalou's double and a Marko Basa strike had given Rudi Garcia's hosts a comfortable lead.

Despite the draw, the Montbeliard side still face another week in the bottom three of Ligue 1 having won just one game in their previous nine outings, while two dropped points for Lille meant they missed the chance to pull level with third-placed Lyon.
